Last weekend The Guam High School Wind Ensemble won first place (best musical group) in the Guam Jazz Festival. Kate had 3 solos (2 of which were improvisation)..she did great! She played half the time on her flute and half on the alto sax. The Ensemble was wonderful, and sounded so professional. Wanted to share a few pictures, please forgive how blurry they are...my camera was having fits that day.

That is awsome, you must be so proud. It's also wonderful that she's motivated...we're struggling just a little with that right now.
