Arlington National Cemetary March 2009

I went on a tour of Arlington National Cemetary on Saturday and it was AMAZING. I grew up an hour from here, yet never have gone to Arlington until now!. I went with my Aunt Lil and her friend Nancy. Nancy (after much looking around) found the markers for her inlaws graves. Each marker has a number on the back of it etched in the stone...there are sections and you have to look and look until you find them. Quite the hunt..but it was really great to find them and pay homage to these military heroes!!
We took the bus tour and really got to see some incredible things! It was rainy and foggy, but still beautiful. Enjoy the pics
One of my aunt Lil and Nancy...Nancy at the grave sites, the changing of the guard, the guarding of the tomb, some scenery shots, Audie Murphy's grave, and the Kennedy's graves.
