Hannah Banana's 16th Birthday WASHINGTON DC STYLE

The whole gang Chinatown Washington DC NOV 15, 2008
Hannah and her coldstone cake

Blowing out the candles re-enacted haha

Having fun!

Hannah the leaf eater and Lauren the steak eater!

I can't believe Hannah is 16 already! Where did the time go? She had a blast for her sweet 16 and had 9 of her friends meet at the house at 11am on Saturday. They all took the bus to the metro and rode to the Washington National Zoo. We then met them up in Chinatown at 6:30pm at our favorite restaurant and had some great food! We got her a ColdStone ice cream cake and everyone had a great time. Her friend Lauren from Guam (who moved to Japan last year) is living about 30 minutes from us now and came down as well. She got her this hilarious Brontosaurus "VEGETARIAN" shirt and Lauren wore her TREX "CARNIVORE" shirt. If you don't know by now, Hannah is now a vegetarian .but still eats eggs, milk and fish. Not the whole family..just her...we still need our extra rare steaks! haha.

I went veg August 2007. It's been fun trying all the different foods and playing more with spices than I normally do. Mike and Mandi didn't go for it though, so I normally end up using a few extra pots/pans so I can make my meatless version and they can have their usual. Happy Birthday Hannah!
