WOW...what a week! The movers arrive tomorrow morning bright and early to pack up our entire house. We decided to pack out 2 months early so that our stuff will be waiting for us when we get to Virginia. Here in Guam they give you loaner furniture for free...so we took the military up on it. Our house is ready for us and we can't wait to be stateside again!. We will live about 20 minutes from downtown Washington D.C. We have been cleaning, organizing, donating clothes to the homeless, and getting rid of stuff that we don't need or use. What a wonderful feeling it is to get rid of the clutter. Daron begged me to get rid of some of my Pampered Chef stuff...but NO WAY haha. I was proud of the girls and how much stuff they donated. THEY STILL HAVE TOO MANY CLOTHES!!!
We will arrive in D.C. the middle of June (one week after Katie Graduates)..and then she has 11 days until she has to go to BCT (Basic Cadet Training) at the Air Force Academy. She is nervous, but I am going to take her over to a Deb Schuhart's (a neighbor) this week to talk to her and her husband Russ. They both met at the Naval Academy and graduated about 8 years ago. She told me on the phone last night that she has lots of great advice for Katie. She also stated that almost all the Academies are about the same. We are so proud of Kate!
Keep checking the blog this week as I intend to get these videos on here! I have some great ones of Hannah playing soccer and Katie on the rowing team. Just having a few technical difficulties changing over the html. Please leave comments..I love to read them, and the girls think it is cool that people are reading our blog!
Please also say a prayer for Angie and Todd Smith. Keep their family in your thoughts as they go through this time of grief after losing their baby girl. Angie did a blog that you can read about their sweet family. Go to the link on the right side of my blog called "AUDREY CAROLINE" its down toward the bottom. Todd and his sister Nicol are the brother and sister group "SELAH"..an amazing Christian group that I love. Click on several of their songs under "Theresa's Tune's".
Take care and God Bless! Keep coming back for more updates..Im trying to get on here more now that I will finish up with my piano lessons this month. I found a lady here in Guam that is willing to take on all 14 of my students.
